Tortoise and Hare: Charity Race

As a final in VC205, I had to make a short stylized animation about any fairy or folk tale and add some sort of twist to it. My twist is that the Tortoise and Hare have joined this race that is meant to benefit starving children, though what the Hare didn’t know is that the race was to see who could get to the dining table first to become the next meal. I went for a stylized animatic feel because I had such a soon deadline, so I embraced the choppy animation to make it look like paper drawings and like this is a story happening in a children’s book. Lastly, I was also required to include some stop motion in my animation, so the title and end card was stop motion and the car was also stop motion.
